C. transversus Newell, 1984 from Chile (Lohmann 1893, 1907a, b; Newell 1984; Bartsch 2000a) lack some information on gland pores, details of leg-morphology etc but also have some similarities to these species group.

Materiał examined
One female associated with algae from Wandoor, South Andaman, Andaman Islands and two females among algae from Mus Island, Nicobar Islands, India.
Brief Descriptions based on Indian materials (Figurę 3A-E)
Idiosomal lengths of females 310-352 pm. Dorsal plates separated from each other by wide areas of striated integuments. AD anterior broadly rounded, poste riorly ovate, pair of gland pores on antęrolaterai margin. OC with 2 corneae, posterior cornea subdivided. PD bears pair of slightly raises costae with deli-cate pores. Pair of gland pores near posterolateral end of PD. Ventral plates AE, PE and GP fused to a ventral shield; median portion of AP contiguous to ventral shield. AE with 2 pairs of adjunct setae; each PE with 2 adjunct setae. Telofem-ora I and II each with 5 dorsal and 2 ventral setae. Telofemur III with 3 dorsal and 1 ventral seta. Telofemur IV with 3 dorsal setae and devoid of ventral seta. Tibiae I-IV each with 2 pectinate setae. Tarsi III and IV with 4 dorsal setae, dis-tance between 2 basal setae slightly lesser than height of tarsus. In female tarsi III and IV each w ith seta like medial PAS and scaliform lateral PAS. Claws smooth.
