Strength and stability of a three - layer construction of a passenger car body
Abstract
The subject of the doctoral thesis is three - layer construction of a passengers body car. The body based on classical skeleton construction and have a sandwich plates with trapezoidal core in side wali, roof and floor construction. The sandwich plates are madę of aluminum and have trapezoidal core which is connected by welding to smooth sheets. First, the mathematical model of the sandwich piąte is described. The differential equations of equilibrium of piąte are solved. Moreover, numerical analyses with the use of the FEM -ABAQUS system are carried out. Results of analytical and numerical analysis are compared, and presented in figures. Second, the numerical model of a passenger body car is madę, where the aluminum sandwich plates are used. Three different variants of the body are calculated. Results of numerical analyses three - layer construction body are compared with the results of classical body construction. Advantages and disadvantages all analyzed body constructions variants are described.
