JOB PROSPECTS
Chemical Metallurgy comprises theoretical and prac-tical background of extractive metallurgy. It aims to provide the students with a better understanding of the fundamental principles and their application in metallurgy and to expose the students to the relevant developments in this field. The field of extractive metallurgy consists of many sub-disciplines, based on various physical and Chemical processes, that are steps in pro-cess of producing a particular materials (especially met-als and alloys). These sub-disciplines can be grouped into the categories of minerallurgy, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and electrometallurgy. Owing to ac-quired knowledge graduates will be ready to undertake the creative work in metallurgical industry. The gradu-ation document certifies the degree in chemistry with the notification of a deepened specialization in Chemical Metallurgy.
The students are educated in the field of extractive metallurgy. Graduate level programs provide many of the skills needed in scientific laboratories as well as in modern metallurgical industry. In particular, our graduate will have a good base to work on designing and controlling processes to separate metals from ores.
