Four professional llhrarfans coiuluctcd the lihrarles in the ihrcc buildings, estahlishing an inter-bullding cxchange for the first tlme. Wllh the passage of the "Flcmentary and Secondary Education Act," the fcdcral govcrnmcnt granted our school the money to buy its ncw microfilm reader. The machinę used pho-tographic materiał for casy rcfcrcncc. Wlth the capacity of the threc llbrarics totallng 190, the students learned to rcgulatc their tlme and to usc the facilities to the utmost.

A total of scven women constitutcd the offlce Staff of the three Rlchards' buildings. A new system of attendancc was Introduced at Campus tliis year, using IBM cards for every student. At the end of first period, a composite list was madę from the IBM cards of all the absentecs. Typing the bullctins, answcrlng the phone, distributing the mail, and many other dutics were the familiar routine of the olflce Staff at 11LR.
