In connection with this air conditioning there are certain changes and additions to the griginal plans which can be performed morę efficiently by the General Contractor than by the Air Conditioning Contractor, and a quotation of $2,9^2 for this work 'bas been received from the General Contractor, which the archltect and Comptroller agree is a reasonable price. It is therefore recoramended that approval be given to the Comptroller to sign thischange order, the amount needed to cover both the change order and the architectł8 fees thereon to come from the Allotment Account. This authority is over and above that granted the Comptroller at the December meeting to sign change orders to this contract up to an amount of $2,000 to cover certain other modifications to the plahs and specificationB.
