Soccer returns to HLR. Aiter an ab sence oi several years be cause of a lack oł interest and coaching availabihty łhe sport was cancelled.
Because of a few students who were interested and the recruitment ol Mr. Bill Parker and Mr. lim Houli-han. the sport was re-vived.
Considering this was their first season. the team had a very good season. Their record was 6-2-1.
The team practiced on the P.I.E. field which was located at 107th and
Kenton.
Junior David Flores com-mented fhat “this years team was a good team, and everyone worked well together. We all got along well together and 1 am looking forward to be-ing on the team next year and having an undefeat-ed record.”
Freshman Jim Houlihan said that "next year s team will be a lot better because everyone will be morę experienced, and hopefully morę boys will go out for the team. we need all the players that we can get.
