Ben Fry and Casey Reas are the co-founders of Processing and the primary designers of the language and software. The team leading the current push forward to Processing 2.0 includes: Florian Jenett, Design and Net burgermeister Dan Shiffman, Tutorials Andreas Schlegel, Contributed Libraries George Michael Brower, Contributed Tools Jonathan Feinberg, Parsing & Android hacking Chris Lonnen, Processing Development Environment Patrick Hebron, Video Library Andres Colubri, OpenGL integration Damien Di Fede, Sound Library The core Processing software is augmented by libraries and tools contributed through the community. These inventive extensions are the bright future of the project. We have a list of contributed libraries and contributed tools posted online. This contribution can't be underestimated. The Processing Discourse forum is an essential part of the project. It's been alive and kicking since 2002 and is now in its third iteration. The forum moderators keep the conversation going; they have dedicated amazing energy to Processing. They are Philippe Lhoste (phi.lho), Cedric Kiefer (Cedric), and antiplastik. Processing.js is an exciting future for Processing and the open Web.
