The invention of Velcro

Georges de Mestral (1907-90) was an electrical engineer who invented Velcro.

Born near Lausanne, Switzerland, de Mestral 1 __________(design) a toy plane by the age of twelve and patented it. Later he 2 __________ (go) to the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne.
