Removal instaliation

Installation

1.    Ensure timing marks aligned (1 j & [8].

2.    Fit timing belt in following order:

o Crankshaft sprocket. o Water pump sprocket. o Tensioner pulley. o Camshaft sprocket.

3.    Ensure belt is taut between sprockets on non-tensioned side.

4.    Ensure retaining lug located in slot in cylinder head (10).

5.    Tum tensioner 5 times fully anti-clockwise and clockwise from stop to stop. Use tool No.T10020 (11).

6.    Tum tensioner fully anti-clockwise then slowly clockwise until pointer (12) aligned with notch (13) in baseplate. Use tool No.T10020

NOTĘ: Engine must be COLD.

7.    Tighten tensioner nut (9). Tightening torque: 20 Nm.

8.    Tum crankshaft two turns clockwise. Ensure timing marks aligned (1) & (8).

9.    Apply firm thumb pressure to belt at^. Ensure pointer (12) moves away from notch (13).

10.    Release thumb pressure. Pointer must realign with notch.

11.    Install components in reverse order of removal.

12.    Tighten crankshaft pulley bolts (2). Tightening torque: 25 Nm.

13.    Fit and align RH engine mounting:

o Engine mounting clearance: 13 mm (17).

o Ensure engine mounting bolts (16) aligned with edge of mounting (18).

14.    Tighten:

o Engine mounting bolts (14). Tightening torque: 40 Nm +90°. Use new bolts. o Engine mounting bolts [15]. Tightening torque: 25 Nm. o Engine mounting bolts [16]. Tightening torque: 60 Nm +90°.
