Lavender Waler for Linens

675ml/3 cups of distilled water

85ml/3 oz ethyl alcohol (or isopropyl or 100% proof vodka)

15-30 drops essential oil of lavender

Pour the water and alcohol into the Container and then add the lavender oil and stir. This water will ferment over time and should last about a year. This lavender linen water can be used when pressing your linens. especially pillowcases. to infuse with its soothing, rest-inducing scent. Just add the scented water to your iron, as you would water to use the steam function.

Glass cleaner, non-streak

55ml/1/4 cup white vinegar 1 tablespoon comstarch 1.2ltrs/2 pints warm water

Mix the ingredients and apply with a sponge or pour into spray bottle and spray on. Wipe dry with crumpled newspaper buff to a shine.

Mirror cleaner

335ml/11/2 cups vinegar 110ml/1/2 cup water 8 drops citrus essential oil of choice

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well before use. Spray solution onto mirror and wipe with a dry cloth or towel.

Window cleaner

Place the following in a spritzer bottle and shake well. Use as you would any window cleaner product.

1/3 teaspoon liquid Castile or other liquid vegetable based soap 3 tablespoons cider vinegar or white vinegar 450ml/2 cups water
