SUBJECT: S/H25-60XL Radiator Date Codes
Several improvements have been implemented in the manufacturing process of the subject radiators. The
date code stamped on the radiator must be reported on all warranty claims so the effectiveness of these
improvements may be monitored. The date code is located as shown in Figure I.
The bottom row of characters on the I.D. tag represents the date of nianu-facture. The first number(s)
refers to the week. The alphabetic character refers to the year of manufacture (E = 1984, F = 1985, etc.)
Examples: 42E represents the forty-second week of 1984, 5F represents the fifth week of 1985.
When replacement radiators are available, return any warrantable radiators which have a date code of 42E
(forty-second week of 1984) or later. As always, be sure to include radiator check list, P/N 599836, with
any radiator warranty claim.
