Confirmation Testing

Patient position:
Seated with the wrist in neutral extension and
fingers fully extended. Stabilize the
metacarpals from the ulnar side.

Examiner pressure:
Against the middle phalange of the 5th finger
in the direction of flexion.

This muscle is so small as to rarely act in
isolation.
