Specification of error signals of the PC washing machines
Rev.02, 13 February 2004
The electronic system has been equipped with the self-testing function of the washing machine to detect damages or incorrect operation of the
washing machine. The electronic controller of the washing machine signals that the error has been detected by pulsed “READY/END” diode. For the
“Comfort” washing machine, the error code is shown on the LED display by the letter E and the error number. For the “Optimum” washing machine, the
error code is shown on 4 diodes next to the function buttons. Since the number of signalling options on the diodes is much lower than on the display, in
the “Optimum” model part of similar errors has the same signals.
After cutting the power off, the washing machine remembers the most recent error, to delete the error from the memory (and operate the washing
machine further) the error signal needs to be reset by pressing the START/STOP button for about 3 seconds.
Note! Signal resetting does not mean that the error reason has been removed, but means only that information about error detecting has been
deleted from the controller memory! The error signal describes only the irregularity found but does not specify the damaged element! All signals shown
below may also occur if the wires or the electronic elements are damaged (which is not shown in each point below).
Note! Each error detected locks the door. The door may be unlocked only by resetting the error signal or switching the washing machine off
using the mains switch.

Possible reasons for the defect
E01
D4
No feedback signal from
the door lock
After 15 seconds, the E01 code is shown
and the washing programme is stopped.
-
Open door of the washing machine
- Damaged
lock
-
Door lock shifts the lock detector insufficiently
E11
D4
No adjustment of the triac
of the door lock
After 2 seconds the E11 code is shown and
the washing programme is stopped.
-
Damaged printed board
E02
D2
Time of water taking of
more than 2 minutes
After washing ends, the E02 error is shown.
Additional water taking is blocked above
the pressure control level.
-
Low water pressure
-
Supplying hose or valves are partly clogged
E05 D2,
D4
No signal from the pressure The programme is stopped and the E05
-
No water supply

control 10 minutes after the
start of taking water
code is shown.
-
Very low water pressure
-
Damaged solenoid valve
-
Damaged pressure control
-
The direction-shift valve (of the washing
machine from AquaSpray) is locked in the “off”
position
E03
D2, D3
Time of pumping out of
more than 1.5 minutes
The next spinning after pumping out is
limited to 400 rpm, after the programme
ends the E03 code is shown.
-
The pump filter is partly clogged
-
The drain hose is partly clogged
E06 D2,
D3,
D4
10 minutes after the start of
pumping out, there is no
signal of draining from the
pressure control.
The programme is stopped and the E06
code is shown.
- Blocked
pump
-
Clogged drain hose
-
The direction-shift valve is locked in the “on”
position
-
Damaged pressure control
E09 D1,
D3,
D4
The washing machine has
detected too much foam
during the last spinning and
the foam has not been
removed.
The programme ends without spinning with
the error signal displayed.
-
The washing machine is operational, too much
detergent
E04
D3, D4
The pressure control sends
an “overflowing” signal
The programme is stopped, the pump is
switched on and the E04 code is shown. 1.5
minutes after the “empty tank” signal from
the pressure control, the pump is switched
off. If water is detected once again when
E04 is shown, the pump is switched on
again.
-
Solenoid valves are locked in the “open”
position
-
Great water pressure changes during a washing
cycle
-
The washing cycle starts with the water supply
closed; the water supply is opened during
washing
-
Damaged pressure control
E31
D1, D4
Closed temperature sensor. The programme is not stopped. After the
washing ends, the E31 error symbol is
shown.
-
Damaged temperature sensor

E32
D1, D4
Open temperature sensor.
The programme is not stopped, after the
washing ends, the E32 error symbol is
shown.
-
Damaged temperature sensor
E33
D1, D3
Waters temperature didn’t rise
Washing – machine doesn’t interrupt
program, after washing symbol E34 is
displayed
- Damaged
heater;
-
Washing – machines overloaded;
-
NTC sensor damaged
E34
D1, D3
Heating time exceeded
Washing – machine doesn’t interrupt
program, after washing symbol E34 is
displayed
-
Break in the heaters circuit – damage of heaters element,
bunch or controller.
E21
D3
Locked motor: although
voltage is supplied there is
no signal from the
tachogenerator.
The programme is stopped and the E21
symbol is shown.
-
Damaged motor (tachogenerator, thermal switch
or wiring)
-
Removed motor junction
-
Open thermal switch as a result of motor
overheating
E08 D1,
D2,
D3, D4
Mains voltage outside the
range of 160-253V,
50/60Hz.
The E08 error is shown – the washing
cannot be stopped. After resetting, the error
(if the reason is still present) is detected
again.
Incorrect mains voltage
E22
D3
Short circuit on the motor
triac – there is a signal from
the tachogenerator although
the motor is not powered.
The programme is stopped and the E22
code is shown.
Damaged electronic system (single cases may be
caused by putting in a very unbalanced load such a
blanket or a bathrobe).
E07
D1
Signal (contacts open) from
the float detector – water
on the bottom of the
washing machine.
The programme is stopped and the E07
code is shown. The pump is switched on
(switched off 1.5 minutes after the “empty
