Origami Penguin
These penguins are so gorgeous - and so quick and easy to
make once you master the positioning of the folds - that we
could happily fold a whole flock!
If you haven’t got any googly eyes, you can cut small circles
out of scraps of paper or use tiny white and black stickers for
the same effect.
1. With the colored side of your black
square facing up and place diagonally
in front of you, fold the bottom corner
up as in the photo.
2. Crease well. Now turn the top
white point down to make the
penguin’s beak, as shown.
3. Fold one of the corner points in to
the middle, lining it up by matching
the corner to the middle fold (see
arrow above)
4. Do the same with the other corner
point. Crease well.

5. Fold the wing flap back on itself,
this time positioning it so that just the
tip of the wing peaks out, as shown
above.
6. Flip your penguin over, and add his
eyes!
7. How can you resist making a
penguin family?
