Approaches of teaching grammar
inductive rule-dicovering (examples, learner has to discover the rule)
deductive – rule-driven (giving rules)
inductive

more attractive
- more time-consuming
- sometimes it may be difficult to make a rule
deductive
- less attractive
- impression that learning a language is learning rules
+less time-consuming
Both approaches are good depending on what do we teach and who.
