OBJECTIVE OF PRACTICE:
This practice is designed to improve the player's speed development.
ORGANISATION:
Grid size: 20m x 10m
12 - 18 players
The next players on each line should not start the activity until the previous players have completed their activity
Players should walk or jog into the start, don't start from a static position
Work / rest ratio is 1:6
3 - 5 reps per set
1 - 2 sets per session
2 minutes rest between sets
KEY OBSERVATION FACTORS:
Arm Mechanics
Elbows should held close to the body
Hands and shoulders should be relaxed
The hands should move from the behind the hips to the chest
Leg Mechanics
45* knee-lift
Knees coming up in a vertical line
Ground contact with the ball of the foot
