Teacher welcomes students, makes them sit down on the floor in a circle. |

Teacher shows pictures of the farm animals, tells their names using the structure: `This is a….', students repeat after him. |

Teacher and students stand up; teacher says the name of an animal, shows the moves or produces the sounds that animal makes; students repeat after him, move and produce sounds. |

Reading a story |
Teacher reads the story slowly, shows the pictures, he uses gestures and modulates his voice properly. He may interrupt the story by making students stand up again and show the movements. Teacher repeats the names of the animals several times. |

Post-reading task

Teacher shows the pictures of the animals and students try to say what is the name of the animal; then teacher shows movements or produces voices that animals make and students try to guess one more time. |
