Class Kindergarten, 10 children, age 3-5			Date			Time 45 minutes
Aims Get children acquainted with farm animals. Practicing their listening skills.					Objectives By the end of the lesson students will be better able to recognize farm animals, such as: goose, cow, horse, duck, dog etc.
Anticipated problems Students won't participate actively in the lesson; They won't understand the spoken language;
Materials Book: `The Very Silly Sheep' by Jack Tickle, Little Tiger Press, London 2010.
Stage	Estimated timing	Activity		Procedure
1.	5 mins	Warm-up		Teacher welcomes students, makes them sit down on the floor in a circle.
2.	10 mins	Pre-reading task		Teacher shows pictures of the farm animals, tells their names using the structure: `This is a….', students repeat after him.
3.	10 mins	Pre-reading task		Teacher and students stand up; teacher says the name of an animal, shows the moves or produces the sounds that animal makes; students repeat after him, move and produce sounds.
4.	15 mins	Reading a story		Teacher reads the story slowly, shows the pictures, he uses gestures and modulates his voice properly. He may interrupt the story by making students stand up again and show the movements. Teacher repeats the names of the animals several times.
5.	5 mins	Post-reading task		Teacher shows the pictures of the animals and students try to say what is the name of the animal; then teacher shows movements or produces voices that animals make and students try to guess one more time.
