Overall aims: To revise and broaden vocabulary connected with sports through different exercises done in class and internet library.
Assumed knowledge: Students have already had a lesson connected with sports and know a lot of vocabulary connected with this subject

The T gives Ss flashcards with few different kinds of sports. Ss' task is to walk around the class and have a conversation witch each of the Ss why they like/dislike that sport. |

SS may be discouraged as the flashcards and the games are very easy. T should observe if the Ss do their task properly. |
Presentation |
The T divides the class into pairs. The T draws a big circle on the Bb and Ss' task is to write as many names of the sports as possible. When the T checks the kinds of sports, he also asks Ss to give all the verbs connected with the sport and kind of equipment which is used to practicing the sport. |
To arouse Ss' interest and broaden Ss' vocabulary connected with sports. |

The T gives the Ss handouts and asks them to tell what is the reading passage on page 116 about. Then the T asks Ss to read the text and choose the suitable headline. After the Ss have finished the task the T has a conversation with a class why is/is not golf popular in Poland. |

T gives Ss some more materials connected with sports and leisure. The T asks Ss to do ex. 75.1 and 75.2 on page 153 on the basis of the previous page with some sport and leisure information. After the Ss have done the tasks, the T asks Ss to read their answers one by one. |
