Possession – Penetration game focused around depth

In the top grid – 5 passes or 1 penetrative

pass through the triangle allows the ball to

be switched to the lower grid

Depth exists – players playing with back to

goal; move into new supporting deeper

positions

Defenders work for 1 minute before

switching to allow momentum

Continuous 4v4

Working in units of 4 – continuously for 6

minutes. One player stays high

Change defensive configurations and rules –

1 or 2 touch; not passing back to same

player; 5 passes once; find extra man etc.

Role Reversal

Continuous 4 on 4 into goal; 5 minute

If score – keep possession; if not then

become defence

Start from line – pace in attack

SSG 5v5 with free zone

One player must stay in each zone and initially central player must stay in central zone; freedom of
movement for supporting players
Progressions – any movement as long 1 player in each zone; not back to same player
