9v9 using 2/3 of a pitch. 2 target goals for the defenders to attack should they win the ball. The three yellow defenders and blue striker must stay in half but when a full back plays into the midfield or a striker he can enter via the pass and follow rule.
Once the ball is in play the attacking team attempt to score by combination play. The coach emphasizes the opportunity to play clever combinations and improvise centrally. Taking opportunities to shoot is critical

Emphasis should be on quick play and possession for a purpose. Patience is required but shooting opportunities should not be passed up. Coach should encourage and praise improvisation. |
