Lollipop Scarf
Add a fun bit of spring to your wardrobe with this brightly colored ruffle scarf! Crocheted
loosely, the scarf is then felted to both fluff up and condense the fibers and create a unique
texture. This pattern is perfect for beginners who want to try something new like felting.
Materials:
US J/10 (6mm) hook
Noro: The World of Nature (100% wool) in
Kureyon (or your favorite wool yarn)
Yarn needle
Scarf:
Ch 212, turn.
Row 1: Sc in 2
nd
ch from hook and each ch across, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3, dc in first sc, dc in next sc, 2 dc in next sc,
repeat from * across, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first dc and each dc across.
Fasten off.
Felt scarf according to your favorite method. I washed
it in hot water with some old clothes, untwisted it and pulled it into shape, and then threw it in the
dryer. The edge will be a bit ruffled and the scarf itself is quite skinny and long. To wear, wrap it around
your neck as many times as desired, tucking in the ends, or double it up twice and wear it cascading
down the front.
