Explain that travel

is the verb and travel

is the noun.
Try to get the students to use the context to identify
the part of speech (noun or verb) they should look in
to find their answers.

2 trips—Trip is used in the phrase business trip in the second example.

7 voyage—Voyage is used with longer trips made by boat. The example is similar to the question in the
exercise: ‘a voyage across the ocean’

of Contemporary English for the words bus, train and
plane to help them. The Collocation boxes can be
