“The Last Legion” was directed by Doug Lefler. In this
film played: miss world - Aishwarya Rai (Mira), Colin
Firth (Aurelis), Ben Kingsley (Ambrosinus, Merlin) and
Tomas Sangster who played young emperor – Romulus
August.

This film is based on a novel by Valerio Massimo
Manfredi. It is set in a Italia and Brittany, it was filmed
on location in Italy.

The film is about young boy who become emperor.
When his parents die he is prisoner on small island
Capri, he run away with his teacher Ambronisus and
legionary Aurelius. Young emperor undertakes task of
rebuild of splendour of old empire. So, it leaves with
small group of soldier to Brittany, in order to seek last
roman legion and return for Rome along with it.

For my opinion play of cast in this film is very good and
his dress have to be make with big precision. It isn’t to
much special effects, but I expected for two magicians’
battles, some more special effects.

I recommend “The Last Legion”. Because in this film is
some action, love, science fiction. This film is for each
else.
