Uncurl
Random orbital sanders are great tools
but the sanding disks tend to curl up
(especially in high humidity) and make
it difficult to position on your sander.
As you can see to the right, the discs
want to curl up into a taco shape when
stored in the paper box you purchased
them in.

If you store the sanding disks in cheap disposable food storage
containers with scrap MDF on top of them for weight the problem
goes away.
I bought the containers at the grocery store in the sandwich zip
bag section.
After putting the disks in the
containers with a weight on top of
them write the grit number on the top.
The containers stack nicely and keep
the humidity problems in check.
