Weight 4 (Medium weight) yarn.

Cotton Hemp Yarn.
Hook Size: G, or size needed for specified
gauge
Gauge 4 hdc stitches = 1”, 2 hdc rows = 1”

0 to 3 Months

1: Ch 8, sc in second ch from hook and in next 5 sts, (toe of shoe) work 5 sc in last st, (opposite side of chs), sc in
next 5 sts, (heel of shoe) work 2 sc in last st and join with sl st (now and to join each row) (19 sc)

2: Ch 2 (counts as first st), work 1 hdc in same st, hdc in next 5 sts, work 2 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, hdc in
next 6 sts, 2 hdc in last 2 sts (27 hdc)

3: Ch 2 (counts as first st) and work 1 hdc into same st, hdc into next 10 sts, 2 hdc in each of next 3 sts, hdc in
next 10 sts, 2 hdc in each of the last 3 sts (34 hdc)

4: (Change color) Ch 1 (counts as first st, now and throughout), using the back loops only, sc into each st around
(34 sc)

5: Ch 1, Sc into each st around (34 sc)

6: Ch 1, sc in next 6 sts, (sk 1 st, dc into next st) 6 times, sk 1 st, sc in next 14 sts (27 sts)

7: Ch 1, sc in next 4 sts, (sk 1 st, sc into next st) 4 times, sc in next 14 sts (23 sts)

8: (change color here) Ch 21, sl st into second ch from hook and each across (one tie made), sl st into next 14 sts,
ch 21, sl st into second ch from hook and each across (second tie made), sl st into last 9 sts, cut at least 1” tail,
fasten and securely weave in tail
