15. Traffic Separation. In order to increase the safety of
navigation in the Newarp Banks and Cross Sand area, traffic
separation lanes have been established.
Fishing vessels and pleasure craft. Fishing vessels are
advised not to hinder transit shipping by fishing in the
traffic separation lanes. Pleasure craft should cross the
lanes at as wide an angle as possible and retain full
manoeuvrability.
In fog or thick weather, fishing vessels and pleasure
crafts are advised to clear the separation lanes as
quickly as possible.
