Checking for internal leaks
Fit 2 pressure gauges on the front
wheel calipers.
VII - Checking for internal leaks
Switch on the ignition.
Wait for the pump to stop.
Switch off the ignition.
Using a pedal press, adjust the
pressure on the front wheels to
100 bars.
REMOVING THE PRESSURE GAUGES
After a pressure gauge has been removed it is necessary to bleed the hydraulic circuit at the point where it
was connected.
After 5 minutes there must be
no loss of pressure
(1 bar max.)
Check for the absence of an external
leak.
Replace the braking pressure unit
assembly.
