Hand Wrought Earrings
We have a simple and elequent way for you to make a new
pair of earrings this month.
Materials
" 2 8 pieces or 20g Gold Craft Wire
" 6 4mm Gold Colored Jump Rings
" 1pr Gold Colored Earwire
" 2 Fairy Charms
Tools
" Round Nose Pliers
" Chain Nose Pliers
" Wire Cutters
Step One
Bend wire to a right angle 1.5 inches from the end
of one side of each piece of wire.
Step Two
Using your round nose pliers place a loop 2 inches
from the opposite end of each piece of wire.
Step Three
Bring the right angle up to meet the loop. The loop
should located inside the circle/oval you are forming. If
your crafting doesn't look like this photo you most likely just
need to twist the right angle 180 degrees so the right
angle is facing the opposite direction.
Step Four
Gently twist the right angle around the wire
directly above the loop twice. Cut off the excess wire
from this twist.
Step Five
Create a wire wrapped loop above the loop.
Step Six
Attach a 4mm jumpring to the loop in the center
of the finding you just crafted. Attach a 4mm jumpring to
the charm. Attach both of those jumprings together with
a third 4mm jumpring.
Step Seven
Repeat steps 1 through 6 for the second earring
and then attach your earwires.
