Summary of the course This course is an introduction to computer architecture and computer organization. Computer architecture is how the programmer sees the machine (as an assembler programmer) while computer organization refers to how the machine is organized (in terms of CPU, memory organizations, I/O devices). We will discuss the organization from the combinational and sequential circuit level to see how registers, memory organization, and arithmetic and logic circuits are implemented. We will also talk about control design, and look at the two principle examples: hardwired control and microprogramming. 07.01.2010 1 07.01.2010 2 07.01.2010 3 07.01.2010 4 07.01.2010 5 07.01.2010 6 07.01.2010 7 07.01.2010 8 Przykładowy komputer ze sterowaniem mikroprogramowanym 07.01.2010 9 07.01.2010 10 07.01.2010 11 07.01.2010 12 07.01.2010 13 07.01.2010 14 07.01.2010 15 07.01.2010 16 07.01.2010 17 07.01.2010 18
