KT Method
Deltoid-Anterior
Movie for broad-band (300kbps)
Patient position: sitting
Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the deltoid tuberosity of the humerus.
Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.
Extend and externally rotate the
shoulder to increase tissue tension in
the anterior deltoid.
Stabilize the base of the Kinesio Tex
and pull downward to increase tissue
tension.
Apply the anterior  y tail to the lateral
third of the clavicle.
Apply the posterior  y tail to the
anterior surface of the acromion
process over the division between
middle and anterior deltoid fibers.
Completed Kinesio Tex application:
anterior deltoid
