1. Within the Module 07 database in Analysis Manager, expand the Cubes folder, right-click Store Expense, and then click Edit.
2. In the cube tree, expand the Store Manager dimension.
3. Drag the store_manager column from the Store table onto the Store Manager level.
4. Name the Store Manager 1 level First Letter in the Basic tab of the properties pane.
5. Update the Member Key Column and the Member Name Column of the First Letter level with the following expression:
left("dbo"."store"."store_manager", 1)

6. Click the Advanced tab of the properties pane, click the Hide Member If property, and then click No name.
7. Save the Store Expense cube and then close the Cube Editor. Click No to avoid designing aggregations.
