Wrist Extensor Muscle Group
Movie for broad-band (300kbps)
Patient Position: Seated with the
elbow and wrist joints inflexion, apply
the base of the tape to the dorsal
surface of the wrist joint.
With the wrist in flexion and radial
deviation, apply the medial tail to an
inch short of the lateral epicondyle of
the humerus, following the lateral
border of the extensor carpi ulnaris
muscle.
With the wrist in flexion and ulnar
deviation, apply the lateral tail to an
inch short of the lateral epicondyle of
the humerus, following the lateral
border of the extensor carpi radialis
longus muscle.
