Auxiliary verb Have + Past Participle of main verbs

E.g. I´ve passed the exam.

Have you ever been to England?

E.g.: I have seen Mark today. (Today has not finish)

E.g.: How long have you lived here?

I´ve lived here for ten years since 1999.

We use the Present Perfect:

  1. Find the past participle of the following verbs.

B) Complete the sentences with for or since:

C) Choose tree verbs from exercise A and ask your partner your questions. Write down the answers:

D) Build up sentences with the correct Word order. The verb should go into the Present Perfect.

E) Fill in the gaps with since or for. then write complete sentences as the example:

a ) for ages. b) ______ many years. c) ______ ten o´clock. d) ______ I was a child

e) ______ for breakfast. f) ______ five hours g) ______ten months h) ______ they got married

F) Provide questions for these answers:
