When the classroom door opened, everybody went silent. A man, they didn't know, appeared. He was quite tall and he had short fair hair with a regular parting. He seemed to be a very strong-willed and rigorous man. The man sat behind the desk. His face was lighted up by autumnal sunny rays. He introduced himself as George Smith, a new Maths teacher.
The students were very surprised and they wanted to know what had happened with their former teacher. The silence was unbearable and then Mr Smith told his new students about a horrifying event.
It was one month ago in the Gigantic Mountains. The weather was good to practise sport although it was one of those cloudy, summer days and the sky wasn't completely clear. Mrs Jones was climbing with her son. When they were climbing down a rock, Mrs Jones didn't feel very well. She had some dizziness and as a result she fell three metres off a rock. She stopped under the huge pine. Unfortunately, she had a broken leg and she lost consciousness. After this accident , Mrs Jones had to stay in hospital.
This story made an impression on students since they didn't suppose that their favourite teacher liked extreme sports. After the lessons, Mrs Jones's students went to the hospital with a big colourful bouquet of flowers.
