Read the article again, very carefully, and try to answer these questions:

Do you think it is going to improve? Why?
Try to guess the meaning of phrase “dog-com bazillonairs” in line 9.
With your group start a discussion based on the piece of information from the article. Choose one of the topics below:
Would you like your child to be brought up by a nanny?
Is nanny's profession popular in your country? Why?

Work in pairs. In this activity, Student A and Student B will each look at a different cartoon. The two are related in some way. You each have one minute to describe what your cartoon shows. (Don't show them to each other.)
Student A should turn to the cartoon on page 11.
Student B should turn to the cartoon on page 12.
When you are both finished, discuss:
What is similar about the situations and the problem in the two cartoons?
What are the differences?
