MISSING CHILD FOUND IN DOCKS
Terrifying moments experienced parents of seven-year-old boy who was lost while playing in an industrial district of New Aston two days ago. It wasn't a kidnapping- as policed considered during the investigation and intensive searching. But a sudden disappearance was a terrible shock for the neighbours especially those with children that believe that this area is quite safe.
Parents of seven-year-old Tommy discovered that he is missing from home shortly before his favourite cartoon started. Tommy's mother, Ann, called him a few minutes before six o'clock. `I thought that Tommy is in his friend's house playing with him. I visited the house, but his mother told me he had left thirty minutes ago' Ann said. She called his husband and started to look for their child. When they didn't find him, they called the police.
The police suspected kidnapping so they announced press and a local radio station about the missing boy. After that they found a witness which said, that he had seen a boy who was looking like Tommy on Baker Street at nine o'clock. He was- which is important- alone and following beige Labrador which was approaching to the nearby docks.
New Aston's docks are the biggest docks in this region. They occupy over twenty square kilometres. DC Shaun Frost said, that it was really hard to find Tommy before the sunset, because of enormous size of abandoned warehouses full of hiding-places.
The searching last all night till the breakthrough at six o'clock. Finally, the police officer found place where homeless people were sleeping. Among them he saw a dog from witness description. Next to him was a sleeping a boy. The officer woke up him, asked about his name and called other officers. Four homeless people were examined about an incident and released. They said that was late when Rocky, their dog, had brought Tommy to them. They wanted to called the police in the morning.
The boy was examined by a doctor and give back to his nervous parents. Fortunately it wasn't a kidnapping but people said that it was the scariest incident ever.
