Equipment details in this section have been left blank so that they may be completed by the Ship Safety Officer of this vessel. This manual will become a dedicated to this vessel.
The Ship Safety Officer should carefully study this section and make any insertions necessary. These should be made in clearly legible, easy to read print. It is important that the information is concise and accurate.
Some sections may not be applicable to certain vessels (e.g. not all vessels will have Means of Rescue Units). In such cases the appropriate section may be left blank and marked N/A or struck through.
Any change in the Life Saving Equipment must be accompanied by the appropriate up-dating of this section. E.g. Should a lifebuoy light be exchanged for one of a different type the manual must be amended accordingly.
