Post: Control and Instrumentation Engineer
Department/Location: Engineering Services / Teesside
Role:
Providing site expertise for all aspects of Instrumentation and Control Advising on all aspects of instrumentation, automation and control.
Support business area Instrument Technicians on site DCS/PLC Systems.
Develop maintenance procedures for instrumentation and PLC/DCS systems.
Specify suppliers for control systems and instrumentation.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures for control systems including change control management.
Qualifications
Technical
Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Control Engineering (or related discipline).
Specialist Knowledge in the Design and Specification Of DCS/SCADA/PLC including programming language/Design Methodologies and operating Systems
Preferred working knowledge of GMP, MCA and FDA compliance, validation and regulatory expectations. (eg GAMP3, 21 CFR Part 11)
Minimum 5 years experience.
Personal
Self-motivated, good communication and analytical skills. Keen to develop own skills and those of others.

Working days and hours: 35 hour week, Monday to Friday, 9 to 4.30pm with half lunch break.
Wages offered: Annual Salary Range £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, plus potential bonus, Company contributions to Company pension scheme, 28 Days holidays per annum, plus 8 Statutory Holidays, extra day holiday for each 4 years of service, and Company sick pay scheme where full salary is paid. Support for continuous professional development.

Accommodation offered: Yes / No. No, but for a successful candidate outside the region a relocation package of up to 10% of annual salary is offered to assist with moving to the area.
