Greywolf's Starship Factory #01
Version 1.0 - 13 Sep 2003
A space-themed "paper toy" font set by T. Jordan "Greywolf" Peacock
This is a symbols font comprised of assorted portions of imaginary science-fiction vehicles. It includes the sci-fi "flats" found in the Greywolf Paper Heroes #03 font (http://greywolf.critter.net/fonts.htm), and expands upon this to make a whole set devoted to sci-fi vehicle components.
If you like fonts of this style, I recommend that you check out "Sparks" paper model sets available at Cumberland Games & Diversions:
http://www.cumberlandgames.com
(There are more free downloads available there, as well as fonts and paper accessories for sale at reasonable prices.)
The idea of this set is to be able to make paper models by loading the accompanying TrueType or Type 1 font into your fonts folder, then filling a document with paper models built from these symbols. Below are all the possible combinations in this font set.

Feedback is appreciated! And a special thanks goes out to Mr. S. John Ross for letting me make this font available and for coming up with the idea of paper model fonts in the first place.
These non-scaled images are meant to be combined to create images of spaceships, other high-tech vehicles, or perhaps even items of equipment, for decorating maps, for use as paper markers for role-playing games, for use in programs like Adobe PhotoShop to create artwork ... or perhaps just to play around with for the fun of it.
In a program like Microsoft Word, you can create images with this font fairly easily by lining up different combinations of images. You can adjust how these images line up with each other by changing the font size, or by setting characters to superscript or subscript.
Wing Units ( a-z, A-Z )
Upper and lower case letters of the alphabet are assigned to various types of wings for starships. Each lower case key has the left hand version, while upper case provides the matching right hand side.
