BRIGHTON – it is popular seaside resort which George IV made fashionable 200 years ago (around royal family and aristocracy) ; this city is famous for:
Brighton Pier,
Royal Pavilion which was built during George IV’s reign and it was built in Indian style (outside) and Chinese style (inside) and it makes that it is really popular building there,
KENT – name of the area which is famous for agriculture (the centre of agriculture), fruits (it is called Garden of England); it is also famous for hop which is kept in oast house where it is dried,
HASTINGS – it is town which is famous but really important Battle of Hastings in 1066 when William I Conqueror invaded England and won this battle (Harold of Godwinson was defeated there); there is also popular building Battle Abbey which was built after the battle to thank for victory,
CANTERBURY – it is religious capital of the country; Archbishop of Canterbury is the most important person after the Queen in the Church of England; he works in Canterbury Cathedral (with this cathedral one important conflict between Thomas Becket and Henry II; Thomas Becket was killed by some knights of Henry II),
ST. ALBANS – the capital of Roman England, it is ancient town which was built by Romans; there are remains of Roman town and ruins of Roman theatre (so it was very big place),
WINDSOR – one of the official residences of the Queen which is famous for Windsor Castle where she lives,
