ISAF service member killed in southern Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan (February 14) - An ISAF service member was killed in a hostile incident in southern Afghanistan Feb. 14.
“In this difficult time our thoughts and hearts are with the family and friends of the fine service member who died today,” said Brigadier-General Richard Blanchette, ISAF Spokesperson. “This service member fought honourably for a safe and stable Afghanistan. We shall not waiver in our commitment to this just cause, for which he has made the ultimate sacrifice”.
It is ISAF policy not to release the nationality of any casualty prior to the relevant national authority doing so.
