A

System planowania produkcji jest niezbędny, aby zapewnić, przebiegowi produkcji, maszynom,

sprzętowi, umiejętnością pracowników (produkcyjnym) (pracownikom) i materiały lepszą organizację i rentowność.

Jest wiele czynników, które należy uwzględnić w systemie planowania. Na przykład, firma może wymagać(potrzebować) wiele różnych czynników/składników (wielu etapów planowania). Również popyt może się zmieniać codziennie w tym ciągle zmieniającym się świecie. Nieustannie przychodzące nowe zlecenia (zamówienia). Niektóre są odwoływane (anulowane), z powodu awarii w warsztacie; piętrzące się opóźnienia, spóźnione lub zbyt wczesne dostawy [od dostawców]. Trudno jest śledzić wszystkie te zmiany ręcznie. Na wypadek takich sytuacji, wiele firm utrzymuje dużą ilość towaru w zapasach(magazynach) dla bezpieczeństwa. Jednakże, jeśli firma posiada skuteczny system planowania produkcji, nie ma potrzeby, aby utrzymywać wysoki poziom [towaru] na składzie. Pieniądze zamrożone w magazynowanym towarze można odzyskać (użyć, towar można spieniężyć). W tym samym czasie, dodatkowe koszty magazynowania towaru zostaną zmiejszone.

convert - to ( cause something or someone to) change inform or character

effectiveness - successful or achieving the results that youwant

efficiency - the use of time and energy in a good way, withoutwasting any

line - a system of making goods in which a worker repeatedly does the same tasks on every item and then passes it to the next worker

lot - an amount or set of goods that is produced at the same time or sold together

maximize - to make something as big in amount, size, or importance as possible

optimize - to make something as good or effective as possible

equipment -  the set of necessary tools, clothing, etc. for aparticular purpose

fixtures - a permanently fixed piece of furniture in a house, such as a bath, that would not be taken by someone when they move to a new home

machinery - a group of large machines or the parts of amachine that make it work

materials handling -  the process of moving goods and materials with machines in a factory

raw materials - a substance in its natural state that will be used to make something else in an industrial process

inventory - the amount of goods a store or business has for sale at a particular time, or their value

stock - the total amount of goods that a store or business has for sale

store -  a large building where you can buy many types of goods

breakdown - a failure to work correctly or to be successful

failure - a situation in which a machine or system stops working

fault - something that is wrong with a machine or system

maintain - to keep a building, machine, road, etc. in good condition by checking it regularly and repairing it if necessary

repair - to get something that is damaged or broken back into good condition, or to make something that is not working correctly work again

aggregate - a total that is calculated by adding together different prices, amounts, etc

backing -  support, especially financial, for something or someone

back order - a request for goods that are not available now but will be available in the future

bottleneck - a problem that delays a process or stops it from continuing

capacity - the total amount or number of things or people that something can hold

cycle -  a group of events that happen in a particular order, one following the other, and often repeated

downtime - time when a business does not operate, for example when machines break down or there is no work to do

flow -  if money, goods, etc. flow, they move from one company, organization, or place to another in large amounts

forecast - a statement of what is judged likely to happen in the future, based on information you have now

idle - not operating or not being used

lead time - the time it takes after receiving an order to deliver the goods or services to a customer

make-to-order - a make-to-order manufacturing process is one in which goods are made only after receiving customer orders

make-to-stock - a make-to-stock manufacturing process is one in which goods are made and stored before customer orders are received

optimization -  the process of making something as good or effective as possible

output - the amount of goods and services, or waste products, that are produced by a particular economy, industry, company, or worker

productivity - the ability to do as much work as possible in a particular period

prototype - the first example of a machine or other industrial product, from which all later forms are developed

requirement - something that you must do, or something you need

schedule -  a list of planned activities or things to be doneshowing the times or dates when they are intendedto happen or be done

sequence - a series of related things or events, or the orderin which they follow each other

set up - the way in which things are organized orarranged

stack -  a pile of things arranged one on top of another

throughput - an amount of work, etc. done in a particularperiod of time

uncertainty - a situation in which something is not known, or something that is not known or certain

update -  to make something more modern or suitable for use now by adding new information or changing itsdesign

work in progress - something that is being developed or suggested but that is not yet complete

lot - an amount or set of goods that is produced at the same time or sold together

overtime - time spent working after the usual time needed or expected in a job

shift -  to move something to a different place or position

workforce - the people who are available for work in a particular area, country, or industry

workload - the amount of work that a person or machine has to do within a particular period of time8
