Human rights
It is for everyone to follow to show the rights that all people are entitled to. The UDHR have 30 articles that all people need to follow, this are rights and ways that’s all people need to be treated. It was brought in, in 1948 because of the events in Second World War.
Most rights have limits to ensure that they do not unfairly damage other people's rights. However, certain rights such as the right not to be tortured can never be limited by a court or anybody else. Anyone have rights to rights like the right to life, the right to respect for private and family life, freedom of thought, conscience and religion, and freedom to express your beliefs. The impact will affect Police and Army. In Police the impact will be when Police Officer arrests a person from public because is believing in different religion this will go against person because he got right to belief in different religion or what religion he things is believing in. In the Army when they away in other country like Afghanistan or Iraq when solider is in the patrol he is got rights to walk or be in this country because is going his job.
Examples
Police is when law or other things change in country Police officers need to get use to this and this might impact Police budget because they might need to send Police Officers to the training or cause. People might think that changes what was made are not right and they don’t like them so prostitution might take place so Police will need more Police Officers to patrol and report if there is not any danger going on the impact might be that there is not right amount of Police Officers to patrol so they need to get more people to join this will effect budget.
Equal Opportunities
Is that everyone should be treated fairly and with the same respect don’t matter what they are where they from or what language they speak.
This is important to society because if you exclude certain groups based on one or more of the above characteristics you lose the contribution they can make to society. For example at one time it was frowned upon for middle class married woman to work. In the Army woman can not be on the front line because man will protect woman first, this will impact on the Army because the safety of the other soldiers will be at risk. It is important for Police to have equal Opportunities so that Police Force is not only made up of white British males and it is aware of other cultures or religions and has these people employed within Police Force. This shows that Police are equal because they are including all different cultures and religions, which is the same as people who live in community.
