SAFTY TIPS

BEFORE YOU GO…
You should insure yourself. If you don’t do it you will have problems in hospital when you need help.
Get information about country that you want to visit. Try to learn about the local laws and customs of the places you plan to visit. Check politician situation and if there is war you should think about changing place for holiday.
Try to get only appropriate clothes. It’s really important if you will visit exotic country like India.
Check your passport is still valid. If it isn’t, go to the office and get a new one.
You should put your name, address and telephone numbers inside and outside of each piece of luggage and if it possible, lock them.
DURING TRAVEL…
Try to not look like tourists. Thieves wait for tourists!Expensive-looking jewelry, for instance, can draw the wrong attention.
Try to travel light. You can move more quickly and you will also be less tired.
Make a copy of your passport and leave it in hotel. In case someone steals it you are sure that you will be able to come back home.
Leave cash and credit cards in hotel’s safe. Don’t carry money in handbags or pockets, they are easy targets for thieves.
Try to be especially cautious in areas where you may be more easily victimized.
Don’t discuss travel plans or other personal matters with strangers and don’t take any food or drink they give you.
Make a note of emergency telephone numbers you may need: police, fire, your hotel, and the nearest consulate.
Only take taxis clearly identified with official markings. Beware of unmarked cabs.
Keep car doors locked at all times and as much as possible, avoid driving at night.
Look up any illnesses of the country you are traveling to and make sure you’ve taken any necessary precautions
