Quick note from me:
I tried this method two nights in a row and got fast and positive results on only the scond night! What I did the night it worked was:
Went to sleep sometime between 12:00 - 1:00.
Set my alarm to awaken me at 5:55 but I woke up early at about 5:15. (I will keep setting it to this time whenever I use the method)
Sayed up for about 1 1/2 hours. (half an hour longer than suggested in the method; might have helped)
Did different things to pass time for the first maybe 45 minutes.
Read about lucid dreaming for the remaining time.
Went back to sleep after the 1 1/2 hours was up and did the Self-Hypnotic Suggestions on myself for 10 - 15 minutes.
Kept fairly concious while remaining unconcious enough for a dream to come.
Some dreams dreams came where I was unconcious but became aware it was a dream shortly after (I woke up after I became lucid, though).
Eventually ended in a light dream where I was simply reading a treasury of comics in a book that I was reading for the 45 minutes before I read up on lucid dreaming. I realized it was a dream and franticly kept reading the comics, trying to get more immersed in the dream world. I was careful not to try to hard to move at first because I could feel my physical body. It came time where I was enough in the dream world to get up. I floated up and out of my body but I suddenly came back for an unknown reason.
When you enter into a dream or float out of your body just let it flow. Don't get too excited and don't try too hard to do anything.
