RETAIL OUTLETS

Strus will lease 1.7 ha in Białystok for 67.8 mln PLN for 20,000-sqm shopping gallery and office-hotel outlet.
The Konstanty Strus Corporation has submitted the lowest bid, slightly over 67.8 mln PLN, for the right of perpetual use of a 1.7-hectare lot, located in downtown Białystok on Inwalidów Wojennych Street, in the area of Jurowiecka and Sienkiewicza streets and the Biała River. The section of the lot to be developed has an area of approx. 1 hectare. The remaining part will be biologically active.

According to preliminary assumptions, the investor will build a 3-level shopping gallery with a sales area of up to 20,000 sqm and a 10-12-level outlet (according to the spatial development plan, it may have a height of up to
45 meters) with a development area of approx. 2,000 sqm. The complex will be called “Białe Tarasy” and will be completed within 3-4 years. ■

UCEES is preparing retail-warehouse concept with area of 112,000 sqm for Eurostar in Krakow. The UCEES architectural workshop has prepared conditions of development for a lot with an area of over 23 hectares, in the area of Centralna and Ciepłownicza streets in Krakow. The order was submitted by Eurostar Real Estate. The investor has already applied to the magistrate for administrative permits for a shopping-service center with
a development area of 112,500 sqm.

Let us recall that we have informed in PREM that UCEES has prepared for Eurostar the preliminary development conditions for two lots on Centralna Street, allowing the possibility of construction of office buildings with an area of 164,000 sqm. ■

NOMI is planning construction of hypermarket with area of approx. 5,500 sqm in Września. NOMI is planning the construction of a “home and garden” hypermarket in Września (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The investor is considering the purchase of one of the private lots located on Kaliska Street. It is preliminarily assumeed that the usable area of the outlet will be approx. 5,500 sqm. The possibility of opening a store on the premises of the complex, which will be built in the location of the former Tonsil plant, is also being considered. ■

Tesco is preparing construction of shopping gallery with area of 60,000 sqm in Warsaw-Ursynów. Representatives of Tesco have informed of having commenced procedures connected with preparing the architectural concept of a shopping-service center in Warsaw-Kabaty. The enterprise will be located on a lot which is currently taken up by a Tesco hypermarket (approx. 8,000 sqm), along KEN Avenue. The complex will also include a shopping gallery with a total area of approx. 60,000 sqm.

Preliminary design works should be completed in the third of fourth quarter of this year. However, as we found out at the Tesco headquarters, the construction will not begin by the end of this year. The estimated cost of the project is several hundred mln PLN. ■

Erbud will build a 4,600-sqm shopping gallery with residential section in Międzyzdroje for i.a. Rex Co. In upcoming days the Szczecin branch of Erbud will begin the construction of the “Gryf” shopping gallery in Międzyzdroje (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship), on Gryfa Pomorskiego Street, in the location of the former outdoor bazaar. The investment will cost slightly over
22 mln PLN gross for the company Międzyzdrojski Rynek, whose shareholders are the Rex Company and city authorities.

The outlet, with a usable area of over 4,600 sqm and
a cubature of slightly over 18,300 meters3, will house
a Biedronka supermarket and over 40 other shopping-service facilities and 17 apartment units (from 22 to 45 sqm). It was designed by the Urbicon architectural workshop from Szczecin. Construction works will take until March of next year.

Erbud has also informed of having obtained a contract worth approx .12.4 mln PLN for the construction of another building of the housing estate in Warsaw-Ursynów. The company has already completed the previous stages of the complex for RED Real Estate Development. ■

Invest Nieruchomości will build retail-service center with area of approx. 3,000 sqm in Lubaczów. Invest Nieruchomości is obtaining permits for developing
a property with an area of approx. 0.9 hectare in Lubaczów (Podkarpackie Voivodship), in the area of Płk. Dąbka and Wyszyńskiego streets. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a retail-service outlet (approx. 3,000 sqm) and a manual carwash.

Invest Nieruchomości has so far built a complex in Połaniec (general contractor - Complex-Bud) and “Galeria Dąbrowiak” in Dąbrowa Tarnowska (Małopolskie Voivodship) with a Biedronka supermarket. ■

G2O will soon begin construction of shopping gallery with lease area of 3,200 sqm in Piotrków Trybunalski. The G2O Company from Krakow is finalizing preparations for the construction of the “Areszt” shopping gallery in downtown Piotrków Trybunalski, in the area of Wojska Polskiego, Rwańska and Rycerska streets, in the location of the old jail, which is currently being disassembled. The lease area of the outlet will amount to appprox. 3,200 sqm, including 2,600 sqm which will be used for retail-service outlets and 600 sqm for office space. Jeronimo Martins has leased approx. 1,000 sqm for a Biedronka supermarket.

G2O is the developer and designer of the investment. The company is currently conducting a tender procedure for the general contractor. The gallery should be put to use in the spring of next year. ■

FFP is preparing construction of shopping gallery with area of approx. 2,000 sqm in Mogilno. Piotr Borowiak, the owner of FFP Hotele, has purchased an approx. 0.5-hectare property in Mogilno (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) on Hallera Street. Let us recall that administrative permits for locating a retail outlet in this location were obtained by the Meritum Company. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a supermarket with a retail-service gallery having an area of approx. 2,000 sqm.

FFP Hotele is working together with Sławomir Rosolski's workshop from Poznań on designing the investment. ■

Maak has prepared construction of exhibition-office complex with area of 3,300 sqm in Krakow for PS Bikes. The company PS Bikes, an authorized dealer of Kawasaki motors, is currently obtaining administrative permits for the construction of a retail-service-office outlet on Bronowickiej Street in Krakow. The design of the investment was prepared by Maak Studio. It assumes the construction of a six-story building with a usable area of almost 3,300 sqm on a lot with an area of over 8 acres. The outlet will house offices, a sales showroom and
a motorcycle service. ■

Lidl will build supeermarket on Księcia Bolesława Street in Warsaw. Lidl is conducting environmental procedures connected with the planned felling of trees on
a lot on Księcia Bolesława Street in Warsaw-Bemowo. The company is preparing the construction of a retail-service outlet with an area of approx. 1,500 sqm. ■

Robto will build warehouse-store hall with area of 1,800 sqm in Elbląg. The Robto Company has conducted administrativve procedures connected with the construction of a warehouse-store hall on Dębowa Street in Elbląg. The investment will consist of an outlet with an area of over 1,800 sqm. ■

Vip Car will build sale-showroom complex on
0.6 hectare in Opole. The Vip Car Company has applied to the magistrate of Opole for permits connected with plans for the construction of a sale-showroom complex on Pużaka Street. The enterprise will consist of the construction of an automobile showroom and service (for multiple makes) with a total area of 2,200 sqm and
a complex of parking lots (1,100 sqm). The investor is represented by Evolution Consulting. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

PM Projekt has prepared concept of office complex with area of 40-100,000 sqm in Wrocław. Krzysztof Zawadzki's PREB Corporation is preparing the development of a lot at 7/13 Wilcza Street in Wrocław. The construction of an office complex with a usable area of 40-100,000 sqm is planned there, according to a concept prepared by PM Projekt - Pietrucha, Mroziuk. The enterprise will be carried out next to a 5-hectare lot on Krakowska Street, where Selgros is planning the construction of a hypermarket (a disagreement with the Edo Company, the former owner of the property, which was supposed to prepare the lot for the investment, has still not been resolved). ■

Hartownia Białystok is preparing construction of production hall with area of approx. 8,000 sqm. The company Hartownia Białystok is currently obtaining permits for the planned construction of a production complex. The enterprise will be located on Gen. Andersa Street in Białystok and will consist of the construction of
a hall with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm with auxiliary, social and office facilities. ■

Heinz will build production complex for 26.6 mln PLN on 3.5 hectares in Pudliszki. The concern HJ Heinz has commenced environmental procedures connected with plans for the development of a grocery products production complex in Pudliszki in the commune of Krobia (Wielkopolskie Voivodship). The investor has already applied for incorporating the property, with an area of approx. 3.5 hectares and located near the plant which is already functioning, into the Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone. The company is planning to build a new hall with an area of approx. 5,000 sqm and to produce canned grocery products there. The plant should employ 30 people. The works should be completed in 2011. ■

Hochtief commenced construction of processing plant of Byś Company with area of ca. 5,000 sqm in Warsaw. The construction of a waste processing plant of the Byś Wojciech Byśkiniewicz Company on Wólczyńska Street in Warsaw commenced last week with the official laying of the cornerstone. Hochtief Polska has been chosen as the general contractor of the hall, which will have an area of approx. 5,000 sqm. The investment, which will cost approx. 15 mln PLN, should be completed in September of this year. ■

Rodex will build production plant near Białystok for almost 14 mln PLN. The Rodex Company has obtained an EU subsidy for the construction design of a plant producing PCV and aluminum window carpentry in Koplany Folwark near Białystok. The enterprise should cost almost 14 mln PLN. The investment will consist of the development, modernization and change of use of the outlets of the former brick plant. At the end of April the company received environmental decision for the enterprise. ■

Polimex will build production-service complex with cubature of 164,600 m3 in Krakow for 30.2 mln PLN. MARR (Małopolska Agency for Regional Development) has evaluated the bid submitted by Polimex-Mostostal, with a gross price of 30.2 mln PLN, as the most advantageous one in a tender procedure for the general contracting of four production-service outlets with social-office facilities on the premises of MARR Business Park on Nad Drwiną Street in Krakow. Budimex, Skanska, Mostostal-Warszawa and Hochtief also took part in the procedure.

The investment will consist of the construction of outlets with a total area of 16,100 sqm and a cubature of 164,600 m3. Portico is serving as contract engineer. The enterprise should be completed within 14 months and the documentation was prepared by AB Projekt from Tychy. ■

Modertrans will build production complex on
3.9 hectares in Poznań. Modertrans Poznań has applied to city authorities of Poznań for administrative permits connected with the construction of a bus and streetcar assembly plant at 5 Stalowa Street in Poznań. The property has an area of over 3.9 hectares. It is currently developed with an unused hall with an area of 1,300 sqm, which used to house the Railroad Car Servicing Plant. ■

Aluko will build production plant with area of 3,600 sqm in Elbląg. Aluko, a company with Norwegian capital, is currently obtaining administrative permits for the construction of a production complex in Elbląg. The enterprise will be located on Płk. Dąbka Street, in the Elbląg Park of Technology. It will consist of the construction of a complex of three production halls and an office building with a total area of 3,600 sqm. The factory will produce aluminum doors used in the construction industry and in maritime construction. ■

Symetria is preparing construction of Creon production complex in Miszewo. The Creon Company from Gdańsk, a producer of ventilating ducts, is conducting administrative preparations connected with plans to relocate the seat of the company to Miszewo near Kartuzy (Pomorskie Voivodship). The design of the enterprise is being prepared by the Symetria workshop from Sopot. It assumes developing a lot with an area of 0.7 hectare, where a complex of outlets with a total area of approx. 2,900 sqm will be built (1,700 sqm warehouse-production hall, 900 sqm office building). Declared employment should reach 108 people. ■

Projprzem is preparing development of Johnson Controls production complex in Siemianowice Śląskie. Preparations for the development of the Johnson Controls production complex in Siemianowice Śląskie are at the stage of obtaining administrative permits. The enterprise will consist of enlarging the existing hall with an area of approx. 20,000 sqm. An additional 150 employees will be hired. Project and preparatory works are being supervised by Projprzem from Gliwice.

Let us recall that the previous stage was carried out by Kajima as general contractor. ■

Metraco will build terminal with acid warehouses with storage capacity of 18,000 m3 in Szczecin for 60 mln PLN. Last week KGHM Metraco signed a lease contract with the management of Morskie Porty in Szczecin for ca. 1 hectare of land for the construction of a sulphuric acid reloading terminal. The investment, with an estimated cost of 60 mln PLN, will consist of the construction of 3 warehouse containers, each one with a storage capacity of 6,000 m3. Metraco's strategic partner for designing the investment is Cupram Projekt, which also belongs to the KGHM group and which has prepared the documentation of a salt warehouse with a storage capacity of 50,000 tons in Legnica. ■

Stal Warsztat is planning construction of production-office complex with area of 1,100 sqm in Poznań. Stal Warsztat is planning the development of a production-office complex on Rokicińska Street in Poznań. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a production hall with an area of 600 sqm an an office building (500 sqm). The investment, designed by the Gamex workshop, should be completed in mid 2011. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

BP Wojciechowski is preparing construction of 34 story office building in Katowice for Stalexport. Preparations for the development of the Stalexport property on Sokolska Street are at the stage of establishing the environmental requirements. The investment on an 0.9-hectare lot will consist of the construction of a 34 story outlet with
a development area of 4,500 sqm. The complex will serve predominantly office functions, although apartments, services and a hotel are also planned.

A parking garage is currently located on the lot, near two Stalexport skyscrapers, built in the 1980s. The concept of the enterprise was prepared by Wojciech Wojciechowski. ■

Abrys is preparing construction of office complex on
1.2 hectares in Warsaw for Enco. The Abrys workshop is preparing the development concept of lots with an area of 1.2 hectares, belonging to the Enco Company, located at the junction of Marynarska and Postępu streets in Warsaw. Plans include the construction of three office buildings with a total development area of 6,300 sqm and a height of 10 stories. Environmental decisions related to the planned enterprise are being prepared now.

Let us recall that Skanska Property Poland expressed interest in this location 3 years ago. MW Architekci prepared the construction concept of the “Postępu Point” office complex with an area of 60,000 sqm. ■

Łęgprzem is planning construction of office building with area of approx. 6,000 sqm in Krakow. The Łęgprzem Construction-Production Corporation is preparing the construction of an office building on Ciepłownicza Street in Krakow. Plans include the construction of an outlet with an area of approx. 6,000 sqm. Documentation of the enterprise is being prepared by the Ekspo Design Workshop. Construction works should begin in 2011. ■

IGD is considering construction of office building with net area of over 20,000 sqm on Grzybowska St in Warsaw. Padraic Coll, a representative of the Irish Developing Group, has informed that the company will most likely change the function of the skyscraper planned on Grzybowska Street inWarsaw - from an apartment building to an office building. Final decisions will be made soon.The building will be redesigned by authors of the current documentation, the companies Skidmore Owings Merrill and Epstein. The outlet, 22 stories high, will have
a lease area of slightly over 20,000 sqm. ■

Regional Prosecution in Katowice is planning construction of office building with area of 18,000 sqm. Bids with a tender deposit of 10,000 PLN are being accepted for preparing the documentation for the reconstruction of an outlet, located at 31 Wita Stwosza Street, for the needs of the Regional Prosecution and Appelate Prosecution. The works will consist of the construction of a 25-story office building with a usable area of 18,000 sqm and a cubature of 71,000 m3. The order, worth 1.4 mln PLN gross, will be completed within
12 months. ■

Adam Mickiewicz University is seeking contractor of Wielkopolska Center for Advanced Technologies. Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) is accepting bids with
a tender deposit of 1.5 mln PLN for the general contracting of an investment consisting of developing land in Poznań-Morasko for the Wielkopolska Center for Advanced Technologies; the deadline has been set for June 1. The investment, costing (including equipment) 70 mln euro, will be built on the basis of a design prepared by the 1997 Architectural Workshop. Plans include the construction of a center for chemical technologies, material research, laboratory, technical gas warehouse and research facilities. The works should be completed by the end of 2012. ■

Ergo will construct office building with area of 2,800 sqm in Krakow. The Ergo Company is preparing the construction of an office building on Jana Pawła II Street in Krakow on the premises of the Park of Technology. Plans include the construction of a 4-story outlet with a usable area of 2,800 sqm. Procedures for choosing the general contractor are in progress and works should begin in June of this year. ■

University of Rzeszów is seeking contractor of teaching complex with area of 12,400 sqm. The University of Rzeszów is accepting bids with a deposit of 1 mln PLN for the general contracting of the Science-Medical Innovative Research Center at 4 Litawora Street. The investment, documented by the consortium of Karpla Konsulting and Wasko Projekt, will include the construction of an outlet with a usable area of 12,400 sqm. The investment, with an estimated cost of 88 mln PLN, should be completed within 24 months. ■

Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is planning rconstruction of conference outlet for 25 mln PLN. The National Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum in Oświęcim (Małopolskie Voivodship) is accepting bids with a deposit of 15,000 PLN for the adaptation documentation of the so-called Old Theatre of the International Education Center. The design works should be completed within 8 months. The investment, with an estimated cost of 25 mln PLN, should be completed in 2013. ■

Construction of office-hotel complex with area of approx. 71,000 sqm is being prepared in Krakow. The authorities of Krakow are preparing the development of
a property with an area of over 6 hectares, located at the junction of Radzikowskiego and Armii Krajowej streets, near the Ofiar Katynia Roundabout. The enterprise assumes the construction of a hotel with a usable area of 9,000 sqm, an office building (57,000 sqm), retail-service outlets (5,000 sqm, sales area of 1,000 sqm) and parking lots for 1,200 vehicles. The architectural concept was prepared by Marek Wanatowicz. The investment has received a positive environmental decision and an application has been submitted for a conditions of development (WZiZT) decision. ■

University of Rzeszów is planning to build educational complex on approx. 4 hectares in Rzeszów. The University of Rzeszów is conducting negotiations with city authorities concerning the acquisition of a property located in the district of Zalesie. The talks concern a lot with an area of approx. 3-4 hectares, which will be used for the construction of an educational complex of the Faculty of Law and Administration (WPiA). According to preliminary assumptions, the investment will consist of the construction of outlets with a total area twice the size of that currently taken up by WPiA on Grunwaldzka Street. ■

MPL seeks contractor for buildings with area of 7,500 sqm at airport in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. Warsaw-Modlin Mazowsze Airport has issued 5 tenders concerning the construction of buildings in the area of the airport in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The investment is to comprise the adaptation of: “The Old Port” (Stary Port) with a usable area of 500 sqm and cubature of 1,900 meters3 for the purposes of the Communications Center, former boiler building (500 sqm, 1,600 meters3) for the purposes of the guard headquarters, Pilots' House (1,100 sqm, 3,800 meters3) for the purposes of the Border Patrol and Customs Office, and a hangar (4,700 sqm, 33,400 meters3) for the Airport Management Department. The last contract concerns the construction of the chemicals warehouse (700 sqm, 4,100 meters3). Offers for the realization of the tasks (deposits 494,000 PLN in total) can be submitted until the end of May. ■

LZPG seeks contractor for office building with cubature of 14,600 meters3 in Terespol. Border Crossings Management in Lublin in Chełm has issued a tender for the finishing works on the construction of a railway terminal for the border crossing in Terespol (Lubelskie Voivodeship). The works will be carried out in a building with area of 3,600 sqm and cubature of 14,600 meters3. Offers with a deposit of 200,000 PLN will be collected until 1st June. Completion of the contract, the value of which is estimated at 12-14 million PLN gross, is to take 150 days. ■

PSM will build education complex for 35 million PLN in Suwałki. State Music School (PSM) has issued a tender for the role of substitute investor on the extension and modernization of a complex on Noniewicza St. in Suwałki (Podlaskie Voivodeship). The planned investment is going to comprise the construction of a building with a net area of 4,600 sqm and total cubature of 24,600 meters3 (including 5,600 meters3 of the underground part). Offers with
a deposit of 25,000 PLN will be collected until 11th June. The construction works are to be completed by 31st August 2012. The cost of the investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by the Miastoprojekt Białystok office, is estimated at 35 million PLN gross; out of which 27 million PLN is going to come from the EU subsidy. ■

District Court in Płock is planning construction of office building with area of 2,700 sqm in Gostynin. Until 7th May, District Court in Płock will be collecting offers for the development of documentation for an office building in Gostynin (Mazowieckie Voivodeship). The plans anticipate the construction of a building with an area of approx. 2,000 sqm and modernization of the existing part (700 sqm). The contract is to be carried out by 29th April 2011. ■

RARR is preparing modernization of office building in Rzeszów for approx. 10 million PLN. Regional Development Agency in Rzeszów (RARR) has applied to the local municipality for administrative permits for the modernization of an office building on Szopena Street. The planned investment is going to comprise the overhaul of the existing building, allowing e.g. for the construction of
a conference room for 150 people and construction of
a two-level underground garage. The cost of the works is estimated at 10 million PLN. ■

Comtrans-Termobud-Inżynieria consortium will build laboratory in Olsztyn for 7.6 million PLN. The consortium established by Comtrans-Termobud-Inżynieria wants to build a laboratory for the purposes of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) for 7.6 million PLN. The building with an area of 2,100 sqm and cubature of 11,000 meters3 has been designed by the BPBW office. Other candidates for the construction of the building are: Budoprzem (7.85 million PLN); Witka Krzysztof Krawczyk (8.32 million PLN); LB Spółka (8.41 million PLN); Rombud (8.73 million PLN); Ekobud (8.83 million PLN); Zakład Remontowo Budowlany Waldemar Tymoszewski (11.24 million PLN). The works are to be completed within a period of
18 months. ■

Pos-Remal will modernize education building with area of 3,500 sqm in Poznań. Higher Banking School (WSB) in Poznań has chosen the offer of the Pos-Remal Company in a tender for the adaptation of a historical “Bazar” shopping-warehouse building for education purposes. Works in the 3-story building with an area of approx. 3,500 sqm and cubature of 15,200 meters3 are to be carried out by this August. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

Profit Development will construct residential building with approx. 300 flats in Łódź. The company Profit Development has obtained permission for the construction of a residential-service complex on Rewolucji 1905 r. in Łódź. The planned investment is going to comprise the modernization of former factory buildings for the purposes of a complex with approx. 300 flats. The investor's representatives have informed us that architectural details of the investment will be known at the end of the
3rd quarter of this year. ■

A.P. Klan is preparing construction of 36,000-sqm residential-shopping-service complex in Rzeszów.
A.P. Klan is in the process of obtaining administrative permits concerning the planned development of a land plot with an area of approx. 4 hectares, situated on Podwisłocze Street in Rzeszów. The assumptions anticipate the construction of buildings between two and over thirty stories tall, with a total usable area of approx. 36,000 sqm and underground parking lots for 298 vehicles. The complex will be comprised of residential buildings (16,000 sqm), shopping-service buildings (5,000 sqm), a hotel and restaurant facilities. ■

Warbud will build residential complex with 312 flats in Pruszków for Longbridge. Longbridge has hired Warbud to finish the construction of the second part of the “Przy Pałacu” residential complex in Pruszków near Warsaw, on the area of the former Zakłady Porcelitu Stołowego ceramics factory in the area of Prusa, Komorowskiego, Armii Krajowej and Ceramiczna streets. The value of the contract, the works of which are to take 21 months, amounts to approx. 56.2 million PLN. A small part of the works has been carried out by the previous contractor, SPS Construction.

The contract concerns the construction of 312 flats with a total usable area of over 17,300 sqm (approx. 34,500 sqm in total), in 5- and 6-story buildings. The earlier stage, carried out by Strabag as general contractor, had 170 flats. The design of the whole complex has been prepared by the MKC Mierzejewski Kasprzycki Czaplicki office. ■

Arbet will build Warmia Towers complex in Olsztyn for 80 million PLN. The company Arbet has purchased
a land plot on Śliwy Street in Olsztyn and taken over the construction of the Warmia Towers complex. According to the new concept, prepared by the Arche office, the investment is going to comprise the construction of two fourteen story buildings with 190 flats, an office building with area of 1,900 sqm, nearly 3,000 sqm of shopping and service area and a three-story parking lot for 196 vehicles. The complex will also have 108 external parking spaces. The cost of the investment is estimated at 80 million PLN. Currently, the investor has applied for the construction permit, and the works should begin in the 2nd half of this year. ■

Gerium is planning construction of 30,600-sqm residential complex in Krakow according to design by IQ-Group. Gerium Development is holding preparations for the development of a land plot in the area of Śliczna Street in Krakow. The design of the investment has been prepared by IQ-Group Consortium, established by the Wizja and nsMonn Studio offices. It anticipates the construction of two seven-story residential buildings with a total area of approx. 30,600 sqm. The investor has already acquired
a construction permit, and the works should begin in the 2nd half of this year. ■

Arbet is preparing construction of residential complex with 274 flats in Dywity, according to design by Arche. Arbet is holding preparations for the development of
a purchased land plot with an area of approx. 20 hectares, situated in Dywity near Olsztyn. Olsztyn based office Arche has prepared the concept for the 1st stage of the investment, consisting of the development of nearly
2 hectares of land. It is going to comprise the construction of a complex with 274 flats with a usable area of approx. 14,500 sqm and 411 parking spaces. According to schedule, the construction is going to begin no earlier than 2.5 years from now. ■

WAM is getting ready for construction of residential complex with approx. 1,500 flats in Krakow. Military Housing Agency (WAM) is in the process of obtaining administrative permits regarding plans for the development of a land plot with an area of over 6.5 hectares, situated in the area of Miedziana, Skrzatów and Wandy streets in Krakow. According to preliminary assumptions, the land plots can be used for the construction of a residential complex with approx. 1,500 flats. The concept anticipates the construction of a building with a height of 4-6 stories, with one additional 16-story building. The plans also include the construction of approx. 973 parking spaces. Currently, WAM is considering two versions of the future investment, developing the area on their own or selling
a part worth approx. 29 million PLN to a developer. ■

Rogowski Development begins preparations for construction of Apartamenty Mińska with 67 flats in Warsaw. Rogowski Development has begun the first preparatory works at the construction site of the Apartamenty Mińska complex in Warsaw. The complex with 67 flats is going to be situated on the corner of Mińska and Rybna streets in the Praga Południe district. The design has been prepared by ARP Stanisławski. The flats are to be put into use in the 4th quarter of 2011. ■

Agro-Man seeks contractor for residential complex with approx. 200 flats in Pruszków. Until 25th May, Agro-Man will be collecting offers in a tender for general contracting of the second part of the “Twój Parzniew - Miasto Ogród II” residential complex in Parzniew near Pruszków (Mazowieckie Voivodeship). The contract, the works of which are to take no longer than a year and a half, is going to comprise the construction of 10 buildings with 192 flats in total.

The whole complex, designed by the Pro-Arte office, is going to have over 600 flats, which are going to be built in three stages. Works on the first stage (approx. 100 flats) have been in progress since last July; they are being conducted by the Białystok based company Kalter as general contractor. ■

Tebodin is going to supervise construction of office-apartment complex with 160 flats in Poznań for Nickel. Last week, Nickel Development ordered a contract to Tebodin SAP-Projekt concerning the role of supervising inspector on the construction of the “Kamienica za Teatrem” office-service-residential complex on Dąbrowskiego St. in Poznań. The investment is going to comprise the construction of 160 apartments with an area between 26 and 90 sqm, over 1,400 sqm of office space and 7 business premises. The construction works which are currently starting are to take 27 months, i.e. until the 3rd quarter of 2012. ■

Monday Development is preparing construction of complex on 2.3 hectares of land in Poznań. Monday Development is preparing the development of a land plot with an area of over 2.3 hectares, situated in the area of abpa Walentego Dymka and Szwajcarska streets in Poznań. The preliminary assumptions anticipate the construction of a residential development with up to six stories, with additional service and garage space, in the Rataje district. The construction works should begin in the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2012. ■

L&S is planning construction of residential building with over 100 flats in Łódź. The company L&S is preparing the realization of a residential investment on
111 Tatrzańska Street in Łódź. The investment is going to comprise the construction of a 4-9-story building with
101 flats having areas between 44 and 75 sqm. The investment, designed by the Marciniak&Witasiak office, is to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2011. ■

Gersh-Bud is planning construction of residential complex with 100 flats in Łódź. Gersh-Bud is planning to build a multi-family residential complex on Wodna St. in Łódź. Documentation of the investment, which is going to comprise the construction of a 7-story complex with approx. 100 flats and a total area of 6,600 sqm, has been prepared by the 3D Projekt office. The company has already got the construction permit, but the date of beginning the investment has not been set yet. ■

Budopol will carry out, for over 17.8 million PLN, 3rd stage of Gant's Tęczowe Osiedle complex in Wrocław. Gant Development has hired Budopol Wrocław to carry out the 3rd stage of the Tęczowe Osiedle residential complex on Opolska Street in Wrocław. The value of the contract, comprising the construction of 130 flats, is going to amount to 17.8 million PLN. The works are to begin in the middle of this May and take 14 months.

Let us recall that a few days ago, Budopol announced the signing of the contract with Gant concerning the construction of the “Kaskada na Woli” residential complex in Warsaw for 124 million PLN. ■

Budbaum will build RSM Praga residential complex with 74 apartment units in Warsaw. Budbaum from Białystok has won a tender procedure, organized by RSM Praga, for the contracting of a residential complex on Namysłowska Street in Warsaw. The enterprise will consist of the construction of two outlets with 75 apartment units. The design of the investment was prepared by the Wadeco Company. ■

Kombinat Budowlany will build multi-family housing outlets with 93 apartments in Białystok. The Kombinat Budowalny Company has commenced, as general contractor, the construction of a residential outlet on Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego. The 7-story building with 63 apartments ranging in size from 36 sqm to 85 sqm will be put to use at the turn of 2010/2011.

The company is planning to erect a 3-story building on Warszawska Street. It will house 30 apartment units, ranging in size from 38 to 186 sqm and two service points. ■

Nowe TBS in Kutno will build multi-family outlets with 57 apartment units. Nowe TBS in Kutno (Łódzkie Voivodship) is planning the construction of the Słoneczne Tarasy housing estate on Koniecpolskiego Street, according to a design prepared by the Formart from Łódź. The complex will consist of six 3-story outlets, housing
44 apartment units, with areas ranging from 40 to 87 sqm. The Mavex Company has begun the construction of the first stage of the complex, which will consist of 3 units.

NTBS is also planning the construction of a multi-family housing outlet on Graniczna Street. The outlet, which should be completed by mid 2011 and will consist of 13 apartment units with areas ranging from 32 to 60 sqm. ■

TBS Tarnobrzeg is seeking contractor of residential outlet with cubature of 12,700 m3. Tarobrzeg TBS (Social Building Association) has announced a tender procedure for a multi-family outlet on a lot with an area of 2,400 sqm on Kopernika Street in Tarnobrzeg (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The enterprise will consist of the construction of an 8-story outlet with a cubature of 12,700 m3, housing 42 apartment units with a usable area of 2,500 sqm and service points (400 sqm). Bids with
a deposit of 50,000 PLN can be submitted until June 1. The order should be completed within 12 months. ■

OSM is seeking contractor of multi-family outlet with 32 apartment units in Otwock. The Otwock Housing Cooperative is accepting bids with a tender deposit of 120,000 PLN for the construction of a multi-family building in the Ługi VI housing cooperative in Otwock near Warsaw. The deadline has been set for May 17. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a 4-story outlet with 32 apartment units. Documentation was prepared by Rup Hause and the order should be completed by July 8, 2011. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

EB Mitex will build Interferie Hotel with ca. 300 rooms in Świnoujście for nearly 100 million PLN. Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex has been chosen as general contractor of the Interferie Medical SPA Hotel, along with equipment, planned on Uzdrowiskowa St. in Świnoujście (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship). The contract, worth approx. 97.7 million PLN gross, is to be carried out by June of next year.

Let us recall that the investment, the developer of which is going to be the Interferie Company from the KGHM group, is going to comprise the construction of a hotel with a net area of 28,000 sqm, 304 rooms, swimming pool, SPA center and a rehabilitation-entertainment section. Portico Project Management participated in running the contracting tender. The design of the investment has been prepared by CP Construction for approx. 3 million PLN gross. ■

PAMA is preparing construction of hotel complex with 181 beds in Bielany Wrocławskie. Pama and Konsult companies have applied to the Kobierzyce City Office (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship) for administrative permits for the construction of a complex of hotel buildings in Bielany Wrocławskie. The investment is going to comprise the construction of a hotel with 87 beds and a lodging house for 94 guests. ■

Monday is preparing construction of residential-hotel complex on over 7.5 hectares of land in Poznań. Monday Development is preparing the development of a land plot with an area of over 7.5 hectares, situated in the Strzeszyn district of Poznań. According to preliminary assumptions, the project will comprise housing development with agritourist services. The construction works should begin in the 4th quarter of 2012. The company is currently awaitinf the construction permit. ■

Hilton, in cooperation with Solaris, is going to open
4-
or 5-star hotel with approx. 100 rooms in Toruń. Solaris Company from the Polskie Pierze i Puch Company has recently signed a letter of intent with the Hilton Garden chain concerning the opening of a hotel under this brand name on Browarna St. in Toruń. As we had informed, the investment, based on the design prepared by the Gdańsk based office Schleifer-Milczanowski and others, is going to comprise the construction of approx. 100 rooms, as well as restaurant and recreation facilities.

The final contract, which will specify the hotel's standards (4 or 5 stars), is going to be signed in May. The construction should be finalized at the turn of 2011 and 2012. ■

ABP Podhale is preparing construction of hotel worth 10 million PLN. ABP Podhale is applying for a EU subsidy for the construction of a hotel with conference and training facilities in Białka Tatrzańska (Małopolskie Voivodeship). The cost of the investment is estimated at
10 million PLN. The company is already managing a hotel named Pensjonat Pod Kotelnicą with 47 rooms and SPA facilities in Białka Tatrzańska. ■

Wimex will build hotel-shopping complex in Białystok. The company Wimex is in the process of obtaining administrative permits for the construction of a service complex on Zacisze St. in Białystok. The investment is going to include the construction of a gas station, shopping pavilion and a motel with a restaurant section. ■

Henpol will construc for 30 mln PLN in Lublin SPA, teaching and residential buildings with area of 10,000 sqm. Henpol construction company has begun, as general contractor, the construction of three new investments in Lublin. Until the end of this year, the company is going to build a complex with an area of over 4,600 sqm, with
a swimming pool and a beauty parlor for SPA Orkana. For Lubartów based company 3D, they are going to build
a residential-service building with a usable area of 2,700 sqm on Nadbystrzycka Street. Meanwhile, according to the contract signed with the Higher School of Economics and Innovation (WSEiI), the company is going to build the New Technologies Center on Mełgiewska Street. The works are to be completed at the turn of January and February of next year. The total value of the investments amounts to approx. 30 million PLN. ■

Gdynia authorities will build Culture Forum with area of approx. 50,000 sqm for 180 million PLN. Communal company Forum Kultury has issued a tender for the role of contract engineer on the construction of a cultural center in the area of Armii Krajowej and Borchardta streets and Kościuszki Square in Gdynia. The complex, the documentation of which has been prepared by Warsaw based office Fiszer Atelier 41, is going to be comprised of a theater with a total area of 24,700 sqm and cubature of 94,900 meters3, media library with a restaurant (12,400 sqm, 44,300 meters3), gallery (10,400 sqm, 35,300 meters3) and an underground parking lot with 369 spaces.

Offers with a deposit of 50,000 PLN will be collected until 7th June. Completion of the investment, the value of which has been estimated at over 180 million PLN, is to take 20 months. ■

Grontmij will receive 2.9 mln PLN for performing role of contract engineer on construction of Podium hall in Gliwice. Grontmij has acquired a contract worth 2.9 million PLN gross concerning the role of contract engineer on the construction of the “Podium” hall in Gliwice. The investment at the junction of Akademicka and Kujawska streets is going to comprise the construction of a hall with a usable area of 56,300 sqm and cubature of 510,000 meters3. The cost of the investment, the documentation of which has been prepared by the consortium of Modern Construction System and Perbo-Projekt, is estimated at
340 million PLN. Completion of the works is going to take 92 months. ■

Wrobis wants to modernize hospital buildings in Szczecin for 26.3 million PLN. Wrobis has offered the lowest price (26.3 million PLN gross) in a tender for the construction of the Treatment Center with a lodging area at the Independent Public Voivodeship General Hospital (SPWSZ) on Arkońska St. in Szczecin. Other participants of the tender are Erbud (28.3 million PLN) and Grupa 3J (31.6 million PLN).

Let us recall that the contract will concern modernization and extension of segment L with a total area of 4,200 sqm and cubature of 14,500 meters3 to a total of 4,700 sqm and 16,300 meters3 and modernization of section M (7,400 sqm, 32,900 meters3). The investment is being supervised by Dom Inżynierski “Promis”, along with Przedsiębiorstwo Eko-Inwest. Completion of the investment, designed by Biuro Studiów i Projektów Służby Zdrowia, is to take 42 months. ■

Consortium with Mostostal Warszawa wants to build Praga Museum for 24.2 million PLN. The consortium of Mostostal Warszawa, Acciona Infraestructuras and Wrobis has offered the lowest price - nearly 24.2 million PLN gross - in a tender for general contracting of the Warsaw-Praga Museum on Targowa Street. Pol-Aqua, together with Vectra, BudBaum, Megaron and Holma, want to carry out the investment for 27.9 million PLN; Strabag and Ed. Züblin - for 27.9 million PLN; Warbud and Restauro for nearly 29 million PLN; Winnicki and Mosaicon - for nearly 30.5 million PLN; and Budimex with its mother company Ferrovial Agroman - for approx. 31.9 million PLN.

Let us recall that the investment, designed by PAS Projekt, is going to comprise the modernization of
a complex of historical tenement houses with an area of building development amounting to 700 sqm, and the construction of a new building (1,700 sqm). The works are to be completed by 15th December of next year. ■

Cadolto will extend medical center in Warsaw for
26.7 million PLN. Management of the Independent Public Open Health Care Center Warsaw-Ursynów (SPZLO Warszawa-Ursynów) has ordered a contract worth
26.7 million PLN gross to the company Cadolto concerning the extension and modernization of a medical center on Kajakowa Street. The investment, based on the design by the Pro-Medicus office, is going to comprise the construction of a building with an area of 1,500 sqm and cubature of 6,000 meters3. The works are to take
7 months. ■

Global purchases, for over 1.2 million PLN, land plot for medical complex in Wrocław. The company Global has purchased a land plot with an area of approx. 1,000 sqm, situated on Żeromskiego St. in Wrocław, from Odra-Film. The plot is built over with a former Polonia cinema building with a usable area of approx. 800 sqm. It will be modernized for the purposes of a medical clinic. Global is associated by management personnel with the Inter-System construction company. ■

Gold-Bud wants to extend hospital building in Gniezno for 20.2 million PLN. The company Gold-Bud has offered the lowest price (20.2 million PLN gross) in a tender, issued by the Health Care Center (ZOZ) in Gniezno (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship), concerning the extension of a hospital complex on 3 Maja Street. The other two offers have been made by Mostostal Warszawa (25.3 million PLN) and Budopol-Poznań (29 million PLN).

Let us recall that the investment is to comprise the construction of a wing with an area of approx. 7,000 sqm. According to the investment's schedule, the building should be put into use within a period of 19 months, no later than on 30th November 2011. ■

Św. Zofia Hospital in Warsaw seeks contractor for finishing works on building with area of 4,300 sqm. Św. Zofia Specialist Hospital in Warsaw has issued a limited tender for the 3rd stage works on the extension of buildings on Żelazna Street. The contract concerns the finishing works on a building with a usable area of 4,300 sqm and cubature of 14,000 meters3. Applications regarding admission to tender (deposit 160,000 PLN) will be collected until 7th May. Completion of the contract is to take 11 months. Let us recall that the first two stages of the investment have been carried out by the companies Expobud and Zab-Bud. ■

Integer will build Film Art Center in Wrocław for
12.8 million PLN. The company Integer has won a tender for the modernization of the “Warszawa” cinema on Piłsudskiego St. in Warsaw for the purposes of a 4-screen Film Art Center. The value of the contract, ordered by the company Odra-Film, is going to amount to 12.8 million PLN gross. The design of the building with an area of 3,500 sqm and cubature of 17,600 meters3 has been prepared by Łódź based office Plus-Art. Completion of the contract is to take 12 months. ■

KPIM seeks contractor for hospital buildings with area of 3,600 sqm in Włocławek. Kujawsko-Pomorskie Inwestycje Medyczne (KPIM) has issued a tender for the construction of the beds pavilion for the purposes of the Voivodeship Hospital on Wieniecka St. in Włocławek. The task concerns the construction of a 3-story building with
a net area of approx. 3,000 sqm, according to a design by the local office WAW. Offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN will be collected until 21st May. Completion of the investment is to take 15 months.

Until 14th May, KPIM will also be collecting offers with a deposit of 50,000 PLN concerning the modernization of
a part of the existing building (600 sqm) for the purposes of the Urology Ward. Development of the contract, the documentation of which has been prepared by the Izol office, is to take 6 months. ■

Kleczewo authorities are planning construction of 25 m long roofed swimming pool. Until 14th May, the authorities of Kleczewo (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 5,000 PLN concerning the development of documentation for a roofed swimming pool, which will be built next to the Orlik football pitch. The investment will comprise the construction of a 3-story building with an area of building development amounting to approx. 2,000 sqm, containing the main pool sized 25 x 15 m, along with recreation and restaurant facilities. Architectural works are to be completed by 25th November. ■

Ebud Przemysłówka will build Municipal Cultural Center in Bydgoszcz for 7.8 million PLN. Ebud Przemysłówka has acquired a contract worth 7.8 million PLN gross concerning the construction of the Municipal Cultural Center on Marcinkowskiego St. in Bydgoszcz. The lowest price in the tender has been offered by PUBR, but their bid has been rejected. The investment, based on documentation prepared by Sound&Space, is going to comprise the modernization of the former Orzeł cinema for the purposes of a multi-functional building with a usable area of aprpox. 2,000 sqm. The works are to be completed by the end of this year. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

GDDKiA seeks contractor for Wąchock ring road. Kielce Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a limited tender for the construction of a ring road for Wąchock (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship). The investment will comprise the construction of a 11.7 km long section in the course of National Road No. 42. Applications regarding admission to tender (deposit 3 million PLN) will be collected until 1st June. Completion of the contract is to take 18 months. The cost of the investment is estimated at 385.5 million PLN, out of which 115 million PLN is going to come from an EU subsidy. ■

Siedlce authorities will spend 60 million PLN for ring road construction. Until 1st June, the Siedlce City Office (Mazowieckie Voivodeship) will be collecting offers with deposits of 500,000 PLN and 690,000 PLN concerning works on of two stages (approx. 3.5 km each) of the construction of the Internal City Ring Road, between Sokołowska and Warszawska streets and between Sokołowska and Kazimierzowska streets. The works, worth approx. 60 million PLN net, are to be finalized within a period of 14 months. ■

Jaworzno authorities seek contractor for Regional Cooperation Road. Jaworzno City Office (Śląskie Voivodeship) has issued a tender for the construction of the Regional Cooperation Road (Droga Współpracy Regionalnej) between National Road No. 79 and the Jeleń junction at the A4 motorway. The total cost of the investment is estimated at 74 million PLN gross. Offers with a deposit of 600,000 PLN will be collected until
27th May. Completion of the investment is to take
24 months. ■

Sławno commune seeks contractor for infrastructure works worth 58 million PLN. Until 27th May, the Sławno commune (Łódzkie Voivodeship) will be collecting offers with a deposit of 700,000 PLN concerning the realization of infrastructure works around the Łódź Special Economic Zone (Sławno Sub-Zone). The task concerns the modernization of access roads and the construction of sewage system with a total length of 71,000 rms, connections (23,000 rms) and 44 intermediate pumping stations. Completion of the contract, the value of which is estimated at 58 million PLN gross, is to take 17 months. ■

ZDW seeks contractor for modernization of road between Wolbrom and Miechów. Krakow Voivodeship Roads Management (ZDW) has issued a tender for the development of documentation and carrying out the extension of Voivodeship Road No. 783 between Wolbrom and Miechów. Offers with a deposit of 400,000 PLN are to be submitted by 1st June. Completion of the contract, the cost of which is estimated at 48 million PLN gross, is to take 34 months. ■

PRDiM will build ring road for Grodków for
43.4 million PLN. Voivodeship Roads Management (ZDW) in Opole has ordered a contract worth 43.4 million PLN gross to the consortium of Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych i Mostowych, Drog-Bud and ITB concerning the general contracting of the ring road for Grodków. The contract concerns the construction of a 7 km long section in the course of Voivodeship Road No. 401. Contract works are to be completed by 31st May 2011. ■

Strzelce authorities are carrying out construction of water supply and sewage system for over 154 mln PLN. A few weeks ago, a contract was signed by the authorities of Strzelce Opolskie and Jemelnica communes concerning the partnership on the construction of a water supply and sewage system. The value of the project, which has been granted an EU subsidy, is going to amount to over
154 million PLN. The investment, carried out in stages, is going to include the construction of 107 km of sanitary sewage system in 8 soletstvos of the Strzelce Opolskie commune (Dziewkowice, Błotnica Strzelecka, Rozmierka, Grodzisko, Kadłub, Rozmierz, Sucha, Szymiszów Osiedle) and in 5 soletstvos of the Jemielnica commune (Piotrówka, Wierchlesie, Barut, Łaziska, Gąsiorowice). Approx. 5.1 km of water supply system in Szymiszów Osiedle is also going to undergo modernization. The preparations are being supervised by the company Strzeleckie Wodociągi i Kanalizacja. ■

Ingenieria Idom and BPK will prepare, for nearly 60 million PLN, feasibility study for fast trains line. The consortium of the Spanish company Ingenieria Idom and Biuro Projektów Komunikacyjnych has signed a contract worth 59.7 million PLN gross with PKP (Polish Rail) concerning the development of a feasibility study for the construction of a high speed railway line from Wrocław and Poznań through Łódź to Warsaw. Completion of the contract is to take 13 months. ■

PRKiI and Infrakol will modernize, for 70.2 million PLN, Zbąszynek-Czerwieńsk railway line. PKP has ordered a contract worth 70.2 million PLN to the consortium of Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Kolejowych
i Inżynieryjnych and Infrakol concerning the modernization of railway line No. 358 between Zbąszynek and Czerwieńsk, along with the construction of the Pomorsko-Przylep rail link. Completion of the contract is going to take 30 months. ■

DEVELOPERS AND CONTRACTORS

Erbud will reconstruct laundromat for approx. 12 mln PLN for Silesian Medical University in Katowice. Erbud has obtained an order from Silesian Medical University for reconstructing the laundromat. The contract, worth approx. 12 mln PLN, will be realized within 18 months. ■
