Sew the side seams together. Sew tho strap ends to the bag at the top corners of the opening.

felting

Baste the opening of the bag closed with cotton cord. Baste the flap of the bag down over the front of the bag. Felt in the washer, checking occasionally to see if the bag is completety fetted. When the bag is felted to the desired texture, remove the basting cord, adjust to the finished shape, and let dry in a warm, dry place.

Using one strand of yarn and the tapestry needle, embroider the stenis in stem stitch and the leaves in fly stitch following the illustrations below.
