Bring yam through at A on desired linę. Pass needle £rom B to C (1) and make a straight stitch, then pass needle through Crom D to B (2) and leave a loop. Pass needle through from point beyond D to D (3) and make a straight stitch, then another loop stitch (4). C-ontinue in lliis manner to altemate one straight stitch and one loop stitch (5).
