Removal

Instaiiation

1.    tnsure camsnan locKea witn tooi 111 j. i ooi N533597

2.    Ensure crankshaft sprocket locking tool located correctly [9]. Tool No.T10050.

3.    Ensure timing marks aligned [10].

4.    Ensure automatic tensioner unit locked with tool [13]. Tool No.T10008.

5.    Slacken camshaft sprocket bolts [16].

6. Tum camshaft sprocket fully clockwise in slotted holes. Tighten bolts fingertight [16].

7. Tum tensioner pulley slowly clockwise [17] until lug [18] just reaches stop [19]. Use tool No.3387 [20].

8.    Fit timing belt in following order:

o Camshaft sprocket. o Tensioner pulley. o Crankshaft sprocket. o Water pump sprocket.

9.    Install automatic tensioner unit [15].

NOTĘ: Ensure belt is taut between sprockets on non-tensioned side.

10.    Tum tensioner pulley slowly anti-clockwise [21] (lug [18] moves towards stop [22]). Use tool No.3387 [20].

11.    Remove locking tool without force [13].

NOTĘ: Ensure two-pin wrench remains in position.

12.    Allow tensioner pulley to tum back slowly [17] (lug [18] moves towards stop [19]) until dimension [23] as specified:

o AMF/ASZ/ATD - 4±1 mm. Use drill bit. o ANY - 7±1 mm. Use drill bit.

NOTĘ: Engine must be COLD.

13.    Tighten tensioner nut [14]. Tightening torque: 20 Nm + 45°

14.    Tighten camshaft sprocket bolts [16]. Tightening torque: 25 Nm.

15.    Remove:

o Camshaft locking tool [11]. o Crankshaft sprocket locking tool [9]. o Drill bit.

16.    Tum crankshaft slowly two turns clockwise to TDC on No.1 cylinder.

17.    Ensure dimension [23] as specified:

o AMF/ASZ/ATD - 4±1 mm. Use drill bit. n ANY - 7+1 mm I kp drill hit
