SPECIFICS: If using linen, we recommend stitching over two threads. The approximate finished stitched area on 32-count linen is 10-3/8" x 12-1/4". CROSS STITCH INSTRUCTIONS: Use two strands of floss for all cross stitches. Each square on the graph equals one cross stitch.

BACK STITCH INSTRUCTIONS: Indicated on graphs by heavier looking lines. Complete (use 1 strand of floss) afterthe cross stitches and follow this order. If using floss other than DMC, substitute the appropriate color. The names of the orchids are as follows: Cattleya=large lilac orchid with magenta throat, Cymbidium=two ivory orchids. Dendrobium=magenta/ivory orchid, Phalaenopsis=two lilac, yellow, and peach orchids. 1 Two yellow, peach, and the peach Phalaenopsis bud, DMC 975. 2. Magenta throat of the Cattleya, DMC 902. 3. Lilac Cattleya petals, and lilac Phalaenopsis, DMC 327. 4. Cymbidiums, DMC 3790, (except where the stem touches the top cymbidium) 5. Dendrobium, DMC 902.
